She is proud of what it has financed in Taos County, such as the construction of Cid s Food Market and home mortgages for Earthships. She calls the 65-employee bank a very much professional family atmosphere, if there is such a thing. Family is a priority to us, our individual families and then the family that we are here within an organization, she said. Obviously, in a family sometimes it s hard to say the tough things to be said, so that can be a challenge. But at the same time, it s one that s terribly supportive of peers to help everybody grow and succeed.
