Interested in getting your great photographs published on Tempo’s
“Parting Shot” page?
All you have to do is send us your image either as a photographic pr int (no smaller than 5 by 7 inches and no larger than 10 inches wide or tall) or as a digital file on a computer disc (save as a JPEG at 11 inches wide or tall at 175 dpi). Color or black and white is acceptible. Please do not e-mail photos.
All images must have been taken within Taos County by a current resident of Taos County. We especially want to encourage youngsters, teens and emerging photographers to submit their images.
We will not accept photos taken by cell phone.
Make sure to include a selfaddressed, stamped envelope if you want your photo returned. Do not send one of a kind photos.
Images will be selected based on artistic, timeliness, documentary, journalistic or or iginal qualities — no family snapshots, please. The Taos News
cannot guarantee that ever y photo submitted will be published. If after a reasonable period of time, it is not published we will return the photo.
The Taos News reserves the right to publish submitted photographs on the “Parting Shot” page for one time only.

Images must be or iginal and submitted by the copyright owner. A statement to that effect must accompany the submitted photo.
Each photo must also be accompanied by the following information: Photographer’s name, age, current mailing address, phone number, title of the image or descr iptive caption, name(s) of recognizable individual(s) pictured and the date and location of where the image was taken.
